Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Worcester Air Conditioning(“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects the personal information you provide when you use this website or request a quote. We are the “data controller” for that information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, please contact us at hello@worcesteraircon.co.uk.
1. The information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete our quote form we collect the details you provide, which typically include your name, phone number, email address (if you choose to give it), your postcode, your property type, and the type of air conditioning you are interested in, along with anything else you tell us.
Information we collect automatically.When you visit the site, we and our analytics provider collect certain technical information — such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and cookie identifiers. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
2. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey and prepare and provide your quote;
- contact you about your enquiry by phone, email or text;
- operate, maintain, analyse and improve the website; and
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
Our lawful bases. We rely on: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (handling your quote request); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business; your consent (for non-essential analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to provide your quote and run the site:
- Installation partners. To prepare and provide your quote and carry out any work, we may pass your enquiry to a vetted, F-Gas-registered installation partner covering your area.
- Service providers. Trusted providers who process data on our behalf — including our website host, our lead-management system (used to receive and handle your enquiry) and our analytics provider — under appropriate contracts.
- Legal and regulatory. Where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. This sets cookies and collects usage data as described above. Analytics cookies are only non-essential cookies and are used with your consent where required; you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can read Google’s practices in the Google Privacy Policy, and opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers (for example our analytics and hosting providers) may process data on servers outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses / the International Data Transfer Agreement — to protect your information.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards (normally up to 24 months), unless you become a customer or the law requires us to keep it longer. Analytics data is retained in line with our analytics provider’s settings.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to erase your data in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to our processing of your data;
- request a copy of your data in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@worcesteraircon.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we’d appreciate the chance to resolve things first.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This site and our services are aimed at homeowners and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
